The contemporary space brings together the three Maisons through their emblematic collaborations with contemporary international artists. This artistic installation draws the visitor into Virgil Abloh's work with Baccarat, Jeff Koons' work with Bernardaud and Marcel Wanders' work with Christofle.

MARCEL WANDERS

Ten years ago, the estimed Maison Christofle came together with Marcel Wanders' studio to bring to life the now iconic Jardin d'Eden collection. As an homage to the luxuriant Garden of Eden, the pieces are artfully decorated and delicately engraved with all the wealth and refinement of Christofle’s know-how.

VIRGIL ABLOH

Mixing heritage and modernity, elegance and industrial codes, this piece of art was created by the artisans of Baccarat as part of the Crystal Clear collection. Designed in collaboration with Virgil Abloh, each limited-edition piece was beautifully crafted to embody the unique savoir-faire of the world-renowned luxury brand.

The impressive Virgil Abloh Crystal Clear collection of vases and chandelier is also on show at the Baccarat Boutique in Dubai Mall.

JEFF KOONS

Balloon Dog (Blue) by Jeff Koons, from the highly acclaimed Celebration series, is one of the most iconic works of the 20th century.

The porcelain edition is a reference to the stainless steel 10-foot tall sculpture Balloon Dog (1994-2000), which recreates a balloon twited into a dog's shape on a monumental scale. The inflatable balloon evoques childhood memories and innocent playfulness. Bernardaud is happy to launch this new collaboration in limited edition with Jeff Koons on the occasion of Expo 2020 in Dubai.
